Slow start but strong finish

Wednesday, June 15, 2011  Wednesday remained quiet for most of the day until around the dinner time hour of course. Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser and Autism Car Wash

Sunday, June 5, 2011  The dept combined efforts with our local Applebee’s Sunday morning to do a pancake breakfast fundraiser. Crews and staff waited tables and served the public as they came out to support the local volunteers.

As the pancake breakfast was winding down, most returned to the firehouse to support the Autism awareness car wash at the firehouse. The perfect weather and clear skies contributed to a busy day. Everyone pitched in to help wash and dry multiple cars for several hours, raising money for Herre's Gang and Autism Awareness.

BUSY MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Monday, May 30, 2011  The Memorial Day weekend kicked off just as most usually do, with the Co running calls and BBQ on the grill. Over the holiday weekend the station was fully staffed  and it proved to be a busy weekend full of parades, parties and runs. Crews participated in the Marcus Hook and both Aston Twp's Memorial Day parades and services in between the runs. To top it all off the members threw a BBQ at the station for everyone to chill out and relax while celebrating all our local heroes who have and continue to make the ultimate sacrifice for this country and our freedom.
