Sunday, February 19, 2012 At approx 0030 hours the Chester Heights Fire Co. was dispatched to the area of Smithbridge Rd. and Valley Brook Rd. for the investigation. Fireboard advised 71-Cmd that they were receiving numerous calls possibly in the area of Camp Meeting. Command quickly filled out the box assignment, bringing RIT Co. 63 to the scene. Command reported he had at least 6 buildings burning with multiple exposure problems. Truck 63, (FF/EMT A. Plotts) arrived as the first special service, splitting crews which began setting up the master stream and putting out several hot spots, saving at least two exposures. Crews operated for several hours, maintaining water curtains to protect additional exposures and mopping up hot spots. Units operated under the Command of 71—9A S.
