Today the QRS has been busy in the Twp. starting early in the morning with three runs. Just after 0900 hrs the Box Alarm was struck for the 2300 block of Concord Rd. in Chester Twp. at the Delaware County Trash Transfer Station for the building fire. CTPD arrived on scene with a large industrial building with a trash pile on fire. Truck 63 arrived 1st and put three lines in service to extinguish the large trash fire. Rescue 39 assisted the crew from T63 with suppression and E52 secured a water supply for Truck 63. The fire was eventually extinguished with the help of frontend loaders on site. Units on scene were Co. 40, 68, 63, 52, 39, 45, 61, and 62, RIT 23 & 72, Spill 50, and Canteen 67.
