Sunday, April 18, 2010 At 1030am, Truck 63 was requested to cover Lansdowne Fire Co. Sta. 19 along with Rescue 44 and Engine 06-1. Lansdowne and surrounding companies were battling a dangerous house fire on Rundale Ave. in Yeadon.  During the fire, 3 Lansdowne firefighters became trapped on the second floor requiring them to be rescued via ground ladders. The trio were transported to Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital with minor injuries and released shortly thereafter.


Truck 63 covered for several hours before being released. The officers and members of Green Ridge wish the 3 injured firefighters speedy recoveries.
