Engine 63 returned to the station today after spending a week at Halo Fleet Services having the equipment mounted. Once it was back in Aston, the 5 inch supply line was packed and a few loose items were mounted.
Engine 63 was placed in service at 1700 hours.
It didn't take long for it to catch a run, as the company was dispatched along with 72 to 5130 Pennell Rd. for the fire alarm at 1850 hours. Truck and Engine 63 responded and found unattended cooking in an apartment. The assignment was returned by 72 command.
