At 2:45pm the house fire assignment was dispatched to 57 Morgan Road (Co.63, Co. 72, Rescue 39, Engine 40 and Tower 61, RIT 13, RIT 23 and Medic 72-7) , The Engine(A/C Dawson) and Truck (Capt. Harris) were out the door before dispatch was finished. Medic 100-C was the first to arrive and had heavy smoke from division 2. While the Engine was picking up the water supply, the Truck took the front of the building and began to set up. The crews from the Engine placed a line in-service while the crews from the Truck opened up, threw ladders and searched. Rescue 63s crew pulled a back up line and assisted the Engine's crews with fire suppression. The fire was knocked with minor extension into the attic with in the first 15 min and was under control in 35 min.
Capt. B. Harris had Interior, Lt. C. Repine had Roof, and A/C K. Dawson had the Morgan Road Command. The crews operated for 2 hours before returning. Thanks to Engine 45 and Truck 65 for helping with restoring the equipment and covering.
