Friday, February 19, 2010 Tonight just before 2300 hrs the Rescue Box was dispatched to the 5600 Block of Pennell Rd for the accident with entrapment. ATPD and an off duty firefighter were on scene confirming one person trapped. Chief 72 arrived next and established the Pennell Rd Command. Chief 72 had R63 on our arrival he needed stabilization and needed a door popped to free the driver. R-63 and QRS-63 arrived on scene stabilized one vehicle and started extrication and hazard control of the two vehicle accident. The driver’s door was popped and the driver extricated to awaiting EMS. Units cleared the scene within 35 minutes. R63/QRS 63 operated under the command of Deputy 63 M. Evans. Other units on scene were: Aston Beechwood Fire & EMS 72, M100, M1047, ATPD and 1st & 11th District Fire Police.
