It's here! Chairperson Tiger advised the general membership earlier today that the new Pierce engine was picked up and delivered from Glick to the station to an awaiting crowd. The engine will go in service in a few weeks after the members get trained and familiarize themselves on it and the equipment and radios have been installed. Halo and J-Tech will be handling that. The officers and members would like to Thank Chairperson Kurt Tiger and the Engine Committee for their hard work and diligence in this process and to Pierce Manufacturing for making this state-of-the art engine. Look for more pictures and information to come as it gets closer to going into service.
