Engine 63 responded to Pennell and Concord Roads for an auto fire this morning. The owner escaped injury as the Engine crew found a engine compartment well involved and put a line in service. Crews were on seen for approximately 40 minutes and worked under the command of A/C K. Dawson (63-9B). Around 1900hr the Twp. companies were dispatched to Dexter’s on the Five for the fire alarm as a result of smoke in the kitchen. Truck 63 and Engine 72 responded to confirm there was no fire and the alarm was reset. The Company also went to two fire alarms and a gas leak inside to Chester Twp throughout the day and evening.
