Sunday, June 20, 2010 Around 1300 hours the street assignment was dispatched for a reported house on fire in the 100 block of Chichester Ave in Upper Chichester. Companies 40, 55, 61, RIT 45 and our Truck were due on the run. Truck 63 arrived as the 1st due Truck Co. and setup on side “A” Alpha. Crews from Co. 40 laid into the scene and stretched a hand line to the front door. The Truck crew began running portable ladders when the fire was placed under control. The crew also assisted with the TIC on the interior and used PPV. The Truck returned to service within 30 minutes. Chief 61 J. Smith had the UC Command.
