Fellow FireFighters:Hello. I am looking for information on your first aerial device(1960-Seagraves 65' MidMount Aerial). The truck was purchased by the GRVFD in 1977 from my company,West End Hose Co #7. I was just wondering where it ended up after serving your department. Nice website & keep up the good work. Thanks & Be SafeDan
Hi, All! I was picking up my daughter from St. Joseph Aston today when all the engines flew by to attend to the car accident this afternoon (I'm assuming it was the accident that they were responding to). Hearing all those sirens and seeing the engines drive by reminded us of the risks you all take each day. We said a prayer for you that you stay safe while responding to your calls. We also want to thank you for your service; you are very special people!PS - awesome website; what a great thing to log your calls for the day.
I grew up in Green Ridge and my dad Edgar Simpers and cousin Gerald McManiman were a real part of the department years ago. I guess I'm just carrying on the tradition, but in another location. God Bless you all!
